Your description of the film should be sufficiently detailed to demonstrate to that you have watched the entire film — it should include information from the beginning, middle, and end of the film. Be sure to include the overall takeaway message(s) of the film. This section should also contain answers to the following questions: What are the primary drivers of economic immobility and inequality in the United States? Who benefits from economic inequality? Who is harmed? Part 2: What I Learned/Reactions to the Film (at least 300 words) Provide a discussion on things you have learned AND your overall reactions to the film‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍ as well as reactions to certain scenes in the film. In this section, you should include the quote(s) you wrote down while watching the film. Be sure to explain why these quotes caught your attention. (Note: Quotes do not count toward word count requirement) You are encouraged BUT NOT REQUIRED to reflect on how this film personally relates to your identity (cultural, gender, etc.), experiences, adversities, and/or political views —– share to your level of comfort. Students WILL NOT be penalized for their expressing their own personal/political views/opinions. Part 3: Taking Action (at least 100 words) Answer at least ONE of the following questions: What economic policies and cultural practices can improve economic mobility and reduce economic inequality? What actions can students take at the individual, community, and/or national level to address this issue? Spelling and grammar must be formal and correct.
